Horrible Dream/Nightmare

The other day my DH mentioned wanting a baby. He teases me about it sometimes, but knows there is no baby coming out of this woman. Our bunnies are our babies (and they can be left home alone )

For some reason this triggered a horrible dream/nightmare in me that night. I dreamt I was pregnant and rather far along, so there was no getting rid of this thing. I was crying in the dream and miserable. Even my subconscious is horrified at the idea of reproducing. I felt trapped and terrible. Right before I woke up I was in the doctor's office and they told me the baby was dead. I have never been so happy in a nightmare. I woke up scared and at the same time happy. It was very odd.

Has anyone else had dreams like this? I do not want to have another.

Dreams are they way our unconscious mind organizes stuff, and manages fears and desires. So if you are afraid of something you will see it in your sleep.

I have had a few dreams were I was either a lot pregnant and I couldn't move, I basically couldn't even feel my legs from the weight around my waist, and a few others that I was not very pregnant (no big belly) but had awareness of the pregnancy and I was pretty upset about it, and felt a deep feeling of loss.

I think it is clear what they mean, having kids is a burden, it "immobilizes" you, and if I became pregnant I would feel sad and at a loss.

I only dreamt about being pregnant once...I woke up and literally got sick. I hope I will never have this dream again
